Still, this feels so sad, so I have some good news for you. Something to soothe you're pain so to speak. Roane has agreed, and we have already signed the contract, on a new read. This will be my very first paid stand alone title. I get excited just thinking about it. I just can't wait.
It will be coming out sometime this November after the "Spooktacular Seductions" release. This stand alone is called "Light a Candle for the Beast".
No, this story does not contain Gladys, but I think you're going to like it.
On top of this, some Roane authors have seen some enormous success via this free read celebration--hitting one of Amazon's top 100 lists!
I haven't done too shabby myself.
So, it's a new read and I've found myself checking websites like neurotic squirrel, and yes, I got a five star review; no, I will not wave it around--http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/manor-of-sweet-souls-echo-shea/1120385747?ean=2940046187649 (just in case you're interested)--but I will say how happy I am that my work is being enjoyed. :)
Other than all of this grand and wonderful news, I've been relaxing today. I was up late last night, reading through the free reads and I'm on the last one now. I'm really so glad Roane did this.
Right now I've got some writing to do (Gladys is calling to me), some very good things to read, some laundry, and some planning. Now, what might I be planning? Well, let's see, I have a recently published free read, an upcoming anthology, and my very first paid stand alone to be announced. I'd say there are giveaways in the future. I just haven't quite decided on what the giveaway should, well, give away. Don't worry, like a ninja slug, I am all over this.
Come and see all of Roane's free reads, including the latest--Laurie Treacy's "All For Nothing", here: http://www.roanepublishing.com/free-reads.html
May you read something you enjoy! Note, this is not the slow ending of September, but the dawning of clear October skies, autumn leaves, and good reads. :) Wednesday we start the count down to Halloween and a spooktacular release--see you then!
