Well, I've got another treat for you. I captured the lovely Lena on the computer, and I didn't let her go until she answered all of my questions. :) Hah! No way she was getting away without telling me all of her bookish thoughts. Now, onto the interview!
Hope you're having a lovely day, my dears!
*Cue Criminal Minds leaky pipe and weird dungeon hanging light and...interview!*
Book pillows—yes or no? (Note, this is a pillow you rest your book on while you read.)
I think they can be useful but I don't use any. Most of my books are on my kindle, which I read from my phone.
I thought so. I usually find a nice one or a small puppy to brace my book against. Next up, mane the event where you met your favorite author so far?
I have met a lot of great authors through the years. However, I haven't met my favorite author in person yet. She messaged me one day asking if I would like to read her story, I said yes (it was short), I loved it, and I've loved her ever since.
Awww! *Fans away emotions* One day, my dear, one day. But until then, like the biggest hugs you can think of. Okay, back to the questioning: You started a book page with your sister. Do you and she have the same taste in books?
Big hugs back! No, we like different genres. She leans toward ugly cry stories and I lean more toward paranormal.
*Hug* Oh, man, those can give you the worst snot headaches and book hangovers. Then again, with the help of Kim Harrison, I may have cried over a vampire lover, so you never know what will get you. Next up--where does your cat curl while you’re reading?
Lol, so true. I don't have a cat, lol, my mom is allergic. However, I do have a little Yorkie who thinks she's a cat. She will either curl up on my lap or right above my head, on the very top of my chair. Sometimes while she is up there, she will rest her head on mine. <3 Silly dog.
So adorable! My puppy does the same. Umm, have you ever flipped a book over to keep the author’s picture from leering at you from the back cover?
Lol, yes, yes I have. Having a back cover picture watch you walk your room, tends to make you feel like you are being stalked. Lol.
Yay! I’m not alone!!! Favorite genre of book to read at the moment?
That would be paranormal—and not just romance. I like a little mystery and maybe even some gore thrown in. Especially in October, lol.
Ooo! Me, too. Have you ever bought a book because you saw it on social media?
Yes, social media is where I tend to find most of my kindle books. The book community can be very helpful.
Good to know! Any site the most helpful to you? Or any one person’s recommendation that makes you say, “Yeah, now I’ve got to have it, too”?
Not really. Since I circle the book world on Facebook, I tend to see a lot of books coming out or their covers being revealed. Some jump out at me and, I'm like, "oh, what's that about?" One-click! Lol. Some I win or I'm gifted.
Hah! Love that. And now, last but not least: today, I read on the news that DC is closing the last B&N in the city, leaving it without a major book retailer—which is just so sad. Do you have a favorite bookstore?
Why would they do that? That is sad. Half-price book store is my favorite store. You can find some really good books, in great condition, for half the price. Who can pass that up? Lol, well, I can't anyway!
Well, I couldn’t! Thank you so much for taking the time to be interviewed, Lena! *Takes out a key, unlocks the door, and sets her free.* Big, big hugs, my dear!

Bio: A mother of three, Lena is the co-creator of the book blog Artsy Book Lovin’ Sisters. It was her love of crafts that spurned her to help create the blog, but it was finding out that authors needed help that made her stay. Helping an author or fellow blogger become a success—that’s what the page is about.
When not crafting, you can find her at local author events in Texas.
Lena supports the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, and the Fight Against Cancer—all of which are very personal causes.
(Isn’t she awesome? So have to hug her.)
