Wednesday, we hit the mean streets of the blogger world with a daring question from Anne Higa--what spooky creatures real or simply fabled leaves us fantasy fiction writers quaking in our boots? There were many slithery, sneaky, creepy crawly, flesh mongers, but a few of us were of the same mind on that one.
Also, this Wednesday, there was a very lovely preview of a certain special story--that's right, "If This Be Madness" flashed an excerpt at the world as seen In the Pages of a Good Book...and no, that's not some sort of marketing technique, it's the name of a very good blog with exceptional taste, if I do say so myself. :)
And no, no, Wednesday's not over yet, 'cause Snap, Crackle, and Popping blog, gave us some love, as well.
Now Thursday we were quizzed on decadence. What is our choice of taste, what aromas make our mouths water, what goodies keep us up at night... That's right, we were questioned, quizzed, it was practically tortured out of us: What kind of candy do we prefer? It drew the battle lines between the candy corn eaters and the chocolate grubbers. Since we all know my preference you probably won't be shocked or astounded--I'm loyal to my chocolate. But there are some people who not only didn't say chocolate--they didn't even mention it. I know, right? Disgusting, those people with their adventurous taste buds. You just can't trust a person that doesn't raid their kids candy for the good chocolate. Come check out where Terri drew the painful truths out of us on Scribbler's Sojourn.
Also, R. Brennan snuck us an excerpt of Lily Carlyle's "Ghost of a Chance." Just click on the name for this little goody.
And to close out Thursday, we gave interviews at Long and Short Reviews. They wanted an indepth look at us, one that saw into our souls...and yeah, I gave 'em such a close look, they must've thunked me with the magnifying glass. We were asked one of those deep and rich questions: What is your must have when writing. Some gave reasonable answers--you know, coffee, milk, silence... Well, I looked deeper inside myself as to what I need. So deep, I must've pulled something, 'cause my eloquent, and really relatable answer, is just thunk your head on your desk, hide your face behind you book amazing. Dying to know what I said, but can't wait to click? I'll give you a hint. They're attached to my hands. Yeah, you know you read this blog for a reason.
Friday, holds a special place in my heart. That's right we got reviewed! Whoot! Oh, yeah!
Reading...Dreaming read our book and shared our review with Amazon and every reader on her blog. Whoot! She had some favorites, but overall it was a four star review. Oh, I love a starry-eyed review.
Another special Friday treat, is up on the Machenwood Chronicles...Anne Higa's excerpt for "Do You Believe in Ghosts."
Now, later today, I've got some good posting to do--at least what I hope is good posting, because scheduled for today is not one, but two reviews! Hot dog, with mustard, ketchup, and an ice cold soda on the side! This is awesome! Also, note we've still got two ongoing giveaways. That's right, we're giving away copies, a gift card, a key chain, and a book box that is ever so pretty.
Come and join in!
