My friend, Katrina, started this #dailyjoy thing. I so want to get in on that positive-ness. The thing is to state things you're happy for. And heck knows, I could use a whole lot of them.
My standard is good humor, good people, and good chocolate, so I shall move past that.
I'm thankful for the toes that I rammed into the vacuum and couch respectively.
Thankful for those ankles and calves and knees and thighs--they stick together so if I'm ever in the wild we can start a friction fire. :)
That wiggle to my jiggle when I giggle as I walk. (That covers me from the can to the girls. And all of those delightful organs in the middle.)
I'm thankful for my arms and their bulkiness. Kick your ass, homie. Keep walkin'. :) My elbows, my wrists, my hands my fingers. The various nails at the ends of fingers and toes.
I love my weird skin, my hair that occasionally makes it look like I've been noogied by a potato chip bag.
I love my dishes, and their constant-ness. Adel's voice currently in my ears. Gorgeous, woman, just frickin' gorgeous.
I love that I can step outside and look up into this night sky, and I can watch the clouds drift across the blackness, and tiny fleck stars. I love that it's ever changing and bigger and grander on scale than I could ever be. That I'm caught in the gravity of planets and the sun and there's this whole wide and grand universe, whose enormity would blow my mind. Ah, This helps. Somehow, this helps.
Katrina's got lots of awesomeness. She writes romances to give people happy endings--out of the gutter, you pervs! More Disney, less skeevy "massage" parlor. Not that there's anything wrong with having the skeevy massage parlor, but that's a different genre of book. :)

My dears, I hope the day ahead is filled with so much happiness and joy. To good people, good humor, and good chocolate. :)
